Good News St. Benedict Crucifix

Celebrate the Good News with this finely-crafted hand-made St. Benedict Crucifix.

We are delighted to introduce the Good News St. Benedict Crucifix.

With deep contrasting shades of the natural color of American Walnut and Bubinga, the crucifix stands out in beauty as an accent in any room.  The hand-carved dove, representing the Holy Spirit, is the call to embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our life's vocation.  This cross is also a Trinity crucifix using 3 different woods-in-one.  A Trinity Cross honors the enduring love of the Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit with each other and with God's creations.

The Good News St. Benedict Crucifix comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.  We drilled a hole on top of the cross, inserted Blessed Exorcised salt and sealed with with a Benedict wax seal.

Note:  Each Good News Cross allows us to donate to someone in need of this evil-defeating power of the cross who otherwise cannot afford this cross.  If you know  someone who needs the Good News Cross  for their ministry  to be able to have a spiritual weapon to assist them in their work to help the  afflicted, please prayerfully consider to donate to this ministry or let them know that God's provision will occur to those who have faith.  Please contact us for more information.

Let us partner  to bring this powerful Good News Cross to those in need of joyful hope.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you explain on the page a little about why it is called the "Good News Cross" of St. Benedict?

Answer:  The Good News Cross was designed in collaboration with Good News Ministries of Tampa Bay. The founders of  this ministry are enrolled in our prayers as part of the Cross of St. Benedict Society and we support their mission with prayers.  Visit the following link to read more about the details of the design concept,  the symbolism and the history of this cross  at  http://gnm.org/good-news-cross/.

Can Deacons bless the St. Benedict medal and cross?

Answer:  "The Deacons can bless the cross but he could not exorcise the medal using the traditional prayer which, as far as I have been able to determine, was never extended to deacons. Deacons should therefore not attempt to exorcise St. Benedict Medals. There is  no indication that deacons have been granted the privilege to exorcise and bless St. Benedict medals. A deacon could bless a medal of St. Benedict using the prayer in the Book of Blessings."  Source:   Father B. Jerabek, J.C.L, www.frjerabek.com "Can Deacons Bless a St. Benedict medal?"

Can the cross be displayed on the wall?

Answer:  Yes, it has dual options for a table top or for the wall.

Are there an biblical references to the use of wood?

Answer:  It is a great insight to ponder.  Please refer to the article taken from a priest who took time to meditate on this - Biblical References to Wood and the Cross.

It says in some parts of your website about perpetual enrollment, does this apply to the Good News St. Benedict Crucifix?

Answer:  The heart of this ministry is prayer.  Those who purchase the cross automatically becomes part of our family and enrolled in the Cross Society.  Like any family member, we include you in our daily celebration of the Divine office,  Holy Mass, Rosary.  We also read your specific intentions in Eucharistic Adoration at least once a week.  We encourage our members to pray for the healing of our families and protection of our ministries and missions.
