Rosary of Liberation

The Rosary of Liberation

Ponder on what areas in your life you need healing from a certain bondage like drug addiction, homosexuality, pornography, cancer, pain etc.

Meditate on the following powerful Scripture verses on each decade :

Jesus is the Saviour (Matthew 1:21)

"She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus,* because he will save his people from their sins.”

Jesus is the Healer (Mark 1: 32-34)

When it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were ill or possessed by demons. The whole town was gathered at the door. He cured many who were sick with various diseases, and he drove out many demons, not permitting them to speak because they knew him.

He is the Liberator (John 8:36)

So if a son frees you, then you will truly be free.

Jesus is the God of Mercy (Luke 18:38)

He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David,* have pity on me!”

The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me!”

Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him,

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, please let me see.”

Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.”

Jesus said “Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you”. (Matthew 7:7)

How to Say the Rosary of Liberation

Step 1  The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven and seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen

Step 2 Substitute to the Large Beads the following Bible verse:

If Jesus makes me free. I Will be free indeed

Step 3 On the 10 small beads, recite the following prayers:

Jesus have mercy on me
Jesus heal me
Jesus save me
Jesus free me

Step 4 Repeat Step 3 and 4  ( until you finish the rosary beads)

Step 5 Recite Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy. Hail, our life, or sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us and after this, our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

STEP 6  Give Thanks to the Lord

Let us pray
Lord Jesus, we want to praise and thank You, because You, through Your mercy and pity, created this powerful prayer to produce marvelous fruits of healing, salvation and freedom in our life, in our families, and in the life of those for whom we pray. Thank You, Jesus, for Your infinite love for us! And heavenly Father, we love You, Father, with all the confidence of children. We draw nearer to You, at this moment, and pray that the Holy Spirit flow into our heart. Father, so that the Holy Spirit can come into us, we want to empty ourselves. So, before the cross of Jesus Christ, we renew our complete and unconditional deliverance to You. We ask that all our sins be forgiven and placed, now, on the wounded body of Jesus. We empty ourselves of all afflictions, worries, anguish, and all that has taken the Joy from our life. We deliver our heart to you, in the name of Jesus. Father, we also place on the crucified body of Jesus all our infirmities of body, soul and spirit; our worries about our family and work; our financial and marital problems; and all our anguish, uncertainties and afflictions. Lord, we beseech the redeeming power of the Blood of Jesus. May this Blood come over us now to cleanse and purify our heart of all bad feelings. Jesus, have mercy on me! Jesus have mercy on us! Yes, father, we want to turn over to You all our desires, weaknesses, miseries, and sins; our heart, body, soul, and spirit, everything that we are and have: our faith life, marriage, family, work, vocation, and ministry . . . . Fill us with Your spirit, Lord! Fill us with Your love, with Your power and with Your life! Come, Holy Spirit of God! Come and bring to life the Word of God in us, proclaimed through the Rosary of Liberation, and that this bring about in every heart the grace to heal, in the name of JESUS Christ our Lord.  Amen

History of the Rosary of Liberation

The prayer is in a book we have imported from South America under that title, Rosary of Liberation. It's by Regis and Maïsa Castro, and they say folks have seen healings from just about any misfortune that life can serve us up -- from accidents, from financial dilemmas, from problems in relationships, to cancer.

If you are praying this rosary for someone/something else:

In place of the Our Father’s (on the large beads): If Jesus makes N. free,N. will be free indeed. (Jn. 8:36).

In place of the Hail Mary’s (on the small beads): Jesus, have mercy on N.! Jesus, heal N! Jesus, save N.!  Jesus, free N.!

If you are praying for your family, you should pray on each small bead:

JESUS, HAVE MERCY ON MY FAMILY!

JESUS, HEAL MY FAMILY!

JESUS, SAVE MY FAMILY!

JESUS, FREE MY FAMILY!

And on the large beads:

IF JESUS MAKES MY FAMILY FREE, MY FAMILY WILL BE FREE INDEED.
